Policies and Guidelines

Group Fitness Class Pass

Members of the Recreation and Wellness Center are required to purchase a Group Fitness Pass using RWC Connect in order to attend any of our 120+ fitness classes per week. Pass options are as follows: 

  • Monthly Class Pass - $25 expires 30 days from date of purchase
  • Semester Class Pass - $50 (Spring, Summer or Fall)

Fees and Registration

Group Fitness classes are available to all students, faculty/staff members of the Recreation and Wellness Center through the purchase of a Group Fitness Class Pass. Passes can also be purchased for spouse/partner, retiree, and affiliate members.

Cancellation Policy

To withdraw from a group fitness class you have previously registered for, login, visit your "profile" (top-right) and choose "programs." Select the course, and follow instructions provided. 

No Show Policy

Following a No Show to a Group Fitness class, members will receive an email explaining how to cancel a class.  After 5 emails, the Assistant Director will email explaining the dangers of not ceasing this behavior pattern.  Upon reaching 10 No Shows (and receiving multiple emails), the member will be suspended from the facility until a meeting is scheduled with the Assistant Director to clear the No Show history.  

Apparel Policy

Breathable athletic apparel is expected to be worn in Group Fitness classes.  Fitness shoes are required for participation in a Group Fitness class.  Aqua, Barre, Pilates, and Yoga classes are the exception for wearing shoes.
