COVID-19 Refund Procedure - Campus Recreation

Thank you for your continued support of Campus Recreation and the Recreation and Wellness Center. Refunds will be issued via the credit card/method of payment used at time of purchase. Beginning the week of April 6, we will address extensions or refunds based on the following criteria:

Programs and Services

Group Fitness Class Passes and Olympic/Powerlifting Passes:

  1. Student members with an active semester Class Pass or Power Pass on March 13, 2020, will be refunded $20, based on the number of days remaining on the pass.
  2. Student members with an active monthly Class Pass or Power Pass on March 13, 2020, will be refunded based on the number of days remaining on the pass.
  3. Student members who purchased a Class Pass or Power Pass after March 1, 2020, will receive a full refund.
  4. Faculty/staff members with a valid Class Pass or Power Pass as of March 13, 2020, will receive an extension through the end of summer semester.

Personal Training:

  1. All personal training sessions will be extended through the end of fall semester.
  2. Graduating seniors will be refunded based on the number of unused sessions. Graduating seniors (only) should email campusrec@auburn.edu to request refunds. 

Auburn Strong:

  1. All participants will receive a $112.50 refund based on unused services.

Small Group Training:

  1. All small group training participants will receive a refund based on the number of unused sessions.

Employee Memberships

Faculty/Staff and Faculty/Staff Spouse/Partners:

  1. Payroll deductions will be suspended for April and May. All current memberships will remain active.

Retirees:

When normal university operations resume, Campus Recreation will address extensions based on the following criteria:

  1. Retiree memberships will be extended from the anniversary of last payment and will be based on remaining days of membership, effective March 13, 2020.

Visiting Scholars:

Campus Recreation will address refunds based on the following criteria:

  1. Visiting Scholar memberships purchased prior to March 1, 2020, will receive a $75 refund based on the remaining days of membership, effective March 13, 2020.
  2. Visiting Scholar memberships purchased after March 1, 2020, will receive a full refund.

Standard Lockers:

Please note that personal items contained in lockers will be kept secure for members returning in the summer or fall, and will be returned after normal operations resume.

  1. Members will receive an $8 refund based on the number of days remaining on locker service, effective March 13, 2020. To receive the refund, members MUST complete the form.
  2. If no form is received, no refund will be processed and personal items will be held securely until normal university operations resume.
