About Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation provides fitness, wellness, sports and recreation opportunities for Auburn University students, faculty, and staff. 

Programs include Auburn Outdoors, Club Sports, Intramural Sports, Group Fitness, Olympic/Powerlifting, and Personal Training. 

Campus Recreation facilities include The Recreation and Wellness Center, the Intramural Fields, and the new state-of-the-art Sportsplex. 

The Recreation and Wellness Center provides 240,000 square feet of recreation space for Auburn students. Named one of the “Coolest College Recreation Centers in America” by Men’s Health Magazine, the center includes two 50-foot climbing towers, a 1/3-mile corkscrew track, and a 200,000-gallon leisure pool.

Campus Recreation programs enhance the student experience and promote lifelong patterns of healthy living.

Recreation and Wellness Center

  • 1/3 mile indoor walking/running track (corkscrew configuration)
  • Multi-purpose court (soccer, badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc.)
  • Group fitness studios (yoga, cycling, mind-body, etc.)
